Hmm..., either I am too small, or something in this picture doesn't belong; which is it? Am I trying on clothes, or am I purchasing food? In person, I stand 6'1", yet I am the smallest person in this photo, that's odd.
Well for this weeks DS 106 assignment, I chose a topic from the visual assignments section, and well the product is to the right. The title of the assignment given form DS 106 is, "A Whole New World"; frankly, the title is quite fitting. Does the picture of me honestly belong in the location that it is placed? I will let you decide.
The instructions: Take a picture of your subject (grandparents, pet, yourself) and put it into a totally different background in which they appear abnormally too small or too large. Think of Honey, we shrunk the kids...
The Process:
I basically used a pre-installed application on my phone. The name of the application is Photo Editor, and well that is exactly what I did to several of my photos in order to complete this assignment; edit them.
The assignment was actually very fun. This assignment also enabled me to go through all of my photo's and find the perfect mismatch. I really like the assignments that are presented on the DS 106 site, they are just great. I hope you guys like me being in a whole new world.

ReplyDeleteThis is a good one. It looks as if you're standing in line at a store. It does look like you are the same size as the other guy thought, but I can see the idea in this assignment.
ReplyDeleteThis illusion is very creative. It looks like your ordering food at Taco Bell to be exact, Lol. And it also looks like your looking at yourself order food, like you have a clone. This was a very confusing illusion and I like that cause it makes you think outside the box.
